Day 53: Green

It's that time of year! More buds emerge, and I feel them begin to open upwards towards the sky. Bits of green speckle my branches, yearning for sunlight and the nourishment that comes with it. My leaves came slow, but things are just getting started. It won't be long before the full canopy comes in and I can shower my visitors with my emerald green foliage.
